If those are the standard fatty rims milled out, then they’ve taken a load more material away than we thought possible.

    Oooooo, that’s a bit nice.

    Rim look like marge lites?

Wonder if the non On-One rims are a sign that even the staff cant get the tyres to seat. My tubeless faield the other day, concluded it’s not the tyre, if anything the floaters are slightly tight, it’s the shape of the rim, it needs the box section extending in far enough that the tyre has no choice but to pop into place, or make it double walled and take the weight penalty, or something like the Hugo, or the old GI rims with the external box section, anything appart from that silly* lip, garrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Other than that it’s mostly been great.

the rims look to be double drilled for the spokes which would suggest surly rims

    thisisnotaspoon,

I failed totally using the gorilla tape method.
Then I tried the ghetto method with a split 24″ tube.

It went up first time & not touched them since.

NB though I am using Surly Bud/nate tyres.

But Back to topic – that does look like a nice bike.
How thin are those seat stays – eeeek.

Mine went up fine and lasted ~40miles, and it’s fine on the front, but I think the extra load on the rear in corners pushed the tyre off the bead hook, where it them compressed the foam and then wouldn’t re-seat so deflated twice in 10 miles.

And the GXP top hat migrated out of the drive side bearing.

And the headset is on the piss so won’t stay tight which will mean sending it back for a check as either the headtube needs reaming or the steerer is wonky.

Mines not having the best start!

Just when you think they can’t possibly build something any uglier then the 456 carbon…

That frame looks better than most of their other hard tails. Shame about the wheels.
Certainly better than the Lurcher and 456 carbon.

Had that in my hands today and it’s bloody light, the rims are Halo and the hubs are industry nine, neither are likely be on the production bikes, certainly not the I9’s any road.

Looks tidyHope this is going to have same geo as the Fatty and swapouts for SS. Cheap, light, SSable fatty is a win in my book.

I guess this is a marketing ‘thing’ 😕

Post up pics online but don’t bother answering any basic questions about it when people ask.

    Perhaps it generates hype…..

If it’s a 190 rear hub frame they will have skilfully excluded all the current fatty owners from a tempting upgrade. Doubt many people will want to payout for a new frame +/- forks if they are also obliged to buy new hubs / wheels and bottom bracket / crankset too.

Looks like the alibaba one, I’ll be sticking with my Alu frame for a lot longer in that case.
