    If I have a carbon frame can I clamp a child seat to either the frame or possibly the non carbon seatpost?
    I think I already now the answer but just wanted to confirm it?

    Much better than a rear mounted seat.

    I wouldn't want to clamp a normal child seat on a carbon frame.

    My youngest gets dragged on her tagalong behind my carbon Whyte … though I do swap the carbon post for an alu one!
