Well my Exotic Carbon fork arrived this week and will be replacing my Recon Race 100mm. What have I done!
3 reasons for the change:-
1. My usual trails are pretty tame so thought this might spice it up.
2. Being a SS rider converting to carbon means I now only need to clean the chain and pour the old bucket of water on the bike.
3. My technical skills aren’t great at all tbh so thought this would help me learn to float and move the bike around my body a bit better. I’m fast in a straight line but a lump on the twists and when it gets technical 🙁
Anyway next few weeks will see if its a good idea. I just hope it doesn’t slow me down too much on the fun bits.
