was it an expensive frame, I used to do it (and design bits for F1 cars and jet planes) but am tied up with bicycle manufacturing at the moment ,im thinking it could be a good service if i took on an apprentice to learn composites /framebuilding /bicycle refinishing

Darren at CBS (op link) is a good guy, took a lot of time to talk through the process before leaving me to decide if it was worth it.

On his advice I ended up binning the one frame and kept riding the other, it’s still going strong.

OH used carbon cycle repairs to get a cracked seat tube repaired. I was very impressed, you could even see where the work was done!

hell BML might even become a carbon manufacturing Shop this is what i have done for over 20 years and once you get past derby there isnt really another workshop that specialises , i was down at the Boeing AMRC yesterday and they have some stuff i might be making for them which is sports related so it could tip that way , Unfortunately I’m mowed out with other jobs at the moment
