Mrs Greenboy and myself are off on are hols next week to Sardinia and we’d like to hire a car. Is it cheaper to book one before you go or risk it and pick one up at the airport.

    Cheers

We are off next week – got a good deal through travel supermarket which sent us via some Internet agent to avis – 240 quid for ten days which was best I could find. HTH.

always in advance. I use holiday autos, always appear to be the most competitive and I get 10% discount plus topcashback 🙂

its always a recognised company at the other end.

Edit: Driving standards are some what interesting on Sardinia. However they do have some fantastic roads, and dirt roads if you fancy practicing your rally driving skills

We prefer with mountain bikes the single tracks, from XC

    to technical switchbacks

The mountain roads are best enjoyed on a road bike
