So I bought a 2nd Hand Honda Accord (2005), and this morning as I go to close the drivers window, it goes up about an inch very slowly and then returns down again (reacting to the anti trap I guess).. Eventually I coaxed it up with a bit of manual pressure too. Once it was going it went up fine, just sticky as it first closes.. Does anyone have any idea what the cause is, and if it’s an easy fix.

Check the runner to make sure theres nothing stuck in there.
Also check the regulator (runner inside the door) to make sure its not worked loose / moved causing a tight spot.

On our VW if the window gets confused (e.g. there was something in it), you have to put the window all the way down, and hold the button down for a few seconds to reset it. I’m not sure if Honda do a similar thing.
