    Just seen an ad. for the new Vauxhall Meriva. I saw only a few seconds of the actual vehicle, the rest of the ad was nothing to do with cars.

    This accords with the experience I had of looking at an Audi brochure some while back.

    Is it me, or have the advertising people disappeared up their own rear ends?

    How about showing us the product and just the product?

    I don't wan't airy fairy notions presented about lifestyle!

    It's all a little insulting to one's untelligence is it not?

    I guess they know that a certain element will get sucked in and those people must surely be their target audience.

    *makes a note to do more time shifting of commecial TV to be able to skip the commercials* 😆

    Ask yourself this question:

    If it didn't work would they still do it?

    …obviously there are exceptions.
