    the non drive side has a teardropped shape threaded bi twere the shock mounting bolt screws into, this fell out on tonights ride and is lost…
    are these available anywhere or is it canyon specific?
    slightly pissed as no sign of loctite on the bolt…just glad it didnt happen on my hols!

    What frame is it? I have a canyon Nerve (old type, 2011) which is dented and going in the bin, but if a bolt from it works I can strip it out… I don’t recall there being a teardropped bolt though but I don’t really pay attention to things until they brake.

    Probaby a Canyon specific part, Trek did something similar on their full sus bikes, and I filed a nut with the correct thread to temporarily replace one that had gone missing.

    piece of steel, drill and tap to correct thread and then file to shape.

    A quick phone call to canyon uk and they’re sending me (F.O.C) 1 replacement and a spare just in case..
