Cannondale Slate wheel recall

So the issue is that the oem wheels (supplied tubed) are not safe to run tubeless, and they are providing a free tubeless compatible set to owners, I’m assuming the original oem wheels were advertised as tubeless compatible otherwise his seems remarkably nice of them!

They are not advertising the rims as TR, but they are supplying them with tubed “Cannondale Slate Folding TRS tubeless, 650x42c, by Panaracer” tyres :).

Funny to hear after having seen Thereabouts 2, a (fairly tedious) hipster roadie film with Taylor Phinney along for the ride. The final sequence which is all very profound is necessary as neither they nor a bike shop in Colorado could fix a rear puncture on a Slate.
