    Ok I have acquired the Di2 compatible version of this seatpost as an upgrade to the standard issue one on my Synapse.

    When I go to fit my Di2 battery the ring does not engage with the metal fitting and slides all the way into the seatpost.

    On the other Cannondale post fitted to the bike the battery engages with the metal fitting and stays at the opening of the seatpost. It is then held firm with washers and a circlip.

    What am I doing wrong with the SAVE post ?
