Cannock and DH shouldn’t go together, it’s like world cup skiing from Norfork

He means the Cannock DH course….its icy, very icy, Racers guild liable to be off this weekend unless a real big thaw!!!!

At the moment more than half the trails are closed following recent thinning works by the FC. We did have a trail building / clearing day planned for last weekend but the modest amount of snow we had meant that couldn’t see enough of the affected trails to clear them.

The fire roads top and bottom are like ice rinks and the open trails are similar.

Temperature has made it up to zero today and it’s looking promising for a bit of a thaw ready for the weekend.
