Looking to pop up to Cannock next weekend, will the waymarked trails be affected by the BC National series being held up there at the same time or is it another part of the Forest?

Most of the trails form Tackaroo down to BV will have a diversion in place.

So best avoid then for a first visit? What sections are most likely to be used?

It depends on what they have used as part of the National trail this time as they create different routes each time.

Probably going to be pretty busy in the car parks too being kids holiday and the national so worth holding off.

Or go exploring and find the off piste trails…
