Is there a pub near by etc?

Thinking about heading up next weekend (4 of us)(bank holiday) and wana get it booked up! 🙂

There’s Tackeroo for a more rustic experience, or a much nicer caravan club site the other side of the road. Can’t remember the name, but a quick google should sort you out.

The Horns is a great pub, very bike friendly with massive chips.

you can camp at Springslade which is one of the further points from Birches Valley but not too far away in the grand scheme of Cannock Chase http://www.springsladelodge.co.uk/page5.html
Here you are next to a nice cafe but a few minutes drive from the pub

The CC site is at Wandon http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=3794, again a 5 minute drive from the nearest pub

There is no camping at Tackeroo which is a Forestry Commission caravan site.

I’m sure I’ve seen a few cheeky tents amongst the RVs at Tackeroo….?
