  • Cane creek DB air – air leak from positive to negative air chamber??

Hi, as above. My shock is sitting really low in its travel with my usual air pressure and won’t return to its full length, and when I let all the air out it retracts fully, so seems like I have air migrating to the negative air chamber?

Anyone had this happen before, and how do I fix it? DIY….or do I need to send it off?

    Cheers

Yep, I had this. You need to send your shock off for a rebuild, its knackered.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

    Bummer…..cheers though!

Did you just send it to TF tuned for a standard type service…..or something special??

    Cheers

I sent it to tf, just told them it was sticking down. They sorted it out.but it cost 140 quid.

It needed a new damper shaft, seals etc.
