    Is that not the problem? On the pictures Edinburgh looks lovely but when you get there its smelly, dirty and really noisy. (I am generalising here) but I was passing through the other month and Princess street looks beautiful (Except for all the road works) but the actual experience of being there it felt like a dump, really noisy and smelly due to being in a concrete canyon. Beautiful buildings though. Must have been so rich at some point.

    don’t think I have much of the centre – but google should get yo plenty.

    Its a beautiful city, surprisingly green in parts and because of its topography you get unexpected vistas opening up as you turn corners. Interesting medieval parts and grand Georgian parts along with the usual dull suburbs

    Love Edinburgh. My favorite uk city after London. Pictures don’t do it justice.
