Right, I have my girlfriends Specialized Hardrock XC which has been upgraded on a number of things.
Im thinking of selling it and would appreciate your help in suggesting a price.
The bike is in mint condition and has a 15′ matt black frame
Has upgraded Mavic Cross ride rims with mavic Hubs using panaracer fire XC pro tyres
Avid juicy 3 brakes and discs
    Upgraded shimano gearing
    Wellgo magnesium pedals
    upgraded suntour forks
    Upgraded ladies specialized saddle
    New lock on grips..etc
    You get the picture..
I have included some photos so you can judge you prices on..So please give me your suggestions.
    Thanks

I think it’s probably the tyres but it looks quite red.

tbh, I’d look at the nearest equivalent current model with disks and ask half of that.

As a guess you might get £200-£300 for it.

Aye £200-250, upgrades are not investments.

oily stanchions look a bit sick. I’d reckon £175 ish, maybe £200 tops

As above. Upgrades don’t add much if anything. I’d rather buy original kit as it implies it’s hardly been used rather than needing stuff replaced.

Guys thanks for your comments..I wasn’t a fan of the forks but we bought it like that to get my girlfriend into mountain biking.. which is a good thing..and know she is hooked we are looking for a better model.
Its not all about the look with the bikes and Im guessing a few on this forum care more about the looks of there bike when they ride to the pub on it than getting out on the trails.!!

Thanks again, I was thinking of the £250 mark 🙂

Oh and I think the Phone camera is enhancing the red more than it is..!

I think that bike looks MINT!

    Red’n’black. Lovely!

Price? I’d ask just under £250 and accept anything over £200. It’s not worth much but it’ll make a great starter bike for someone else. Be proud to pass it on. 🙂

Do the forks need a £75 service?

The gunk on those forks doesn’t look so hot. They need a lowers service.

Post service, I’d say £250 isn’t out of the question at all. £200 is cheap.

    Pre service; 190/200?

Thank you for the positive comments, I agree an excellent starter bike or introduction..
As for the forks they shoulden’t need a service but it had just been out for a ride on the SDW and then i took the photos so maybe some other much i have not wipped off.
Right then I think Im selling for £250. Off to the the classifieds
