    Errr… As above really.

    I know you can convert 135qr to 142 but what about the other way?

    Yes, if it’s Pro2Evo for sure. Just swap the end caps.

    Ta! So if I had a qr pro 2 already I could swap the caps from that hub to the one set up as a 142 12mm?

    If you have a pro 2 and want a 135 qr, its an easy swap i have an axeland end caps you can have, if you can wait till next week when im back home, the axel works fine but does have a flat edge on one lip. it doesnt effect any performance though.

    if it’s nonEVO then you need a 135QR axle. The 142 axle is different.

    [EVO hubs it’s just the end caps that need swapping]

    But can I take the axle out my existing hub and use that?

    Simple answer is NO all the end caps are really is spacers, the internal diameter of the axels are different.
