Just popped a new chain on a drivetrain and there is no skipping but struggles to go in the final gear its not skipping just very fussy when it goes in.
Tried fiddling with the indexing but sends everything else out so gone back to the original settings.

They are available if either you or your LBS are willing to search through Madison/Ultimate Pursuits website, cost varies from between five to ten quid if memory serves me right.

+1 – the end cogs don't really index on the normal indexing, the limit screws do the job instead.

New chain will be laterally stiffer, so it may just need to be more precise about where the limit is.
Which end is it – 11t or 34t (or whatever you're running)?
