I always though that 'chads' were the little squares of card that were removed to make the holes in punched cards that were used for computing 'back in the day'. Hence – useless.

Of course the earliest examples of the 'ordinary' weren't nearly as succesful;

I'm surprised the "safety" name didn't stick too.

Mincers could ride sidesaddle on their Dandyhorses. Full body armour would of course still be mandatory.
