I know the sram shifters are 1:1 but as the mech just moves as the shifter dictates is there any reason this won’t work?

the actuation ratio must match between shifter and mech.

You can use SRAM Attack shifters with shimano mechs but not the numbered ones (X9, X0)

If the shifter has a name (Attack, Rocket etc) – yes

If it has a number – no

Yes, mech is designed to work with the same pull ratio as the shifters, so change one and things don’t tie up.

Unless you have SRAM attack/rocket shifters, its a no-go.

Front mech will work with SRAM or Shimano shifters.

OK. thanks. Shifters are Sram X7 so that’s a no then. Cheers.
