My lads fsa bottom bracket (external bearing) has gone very gritty and quite shiff, Can i replace it with a shimano ht2 bottom bracket ? .. hes running a fsa v-drive chainset, is there any difference in sizes between the 2 brands ?
Shimano BB seem a fair bit cheaper than FSA

I use a Shimano XT BB with a Mega-Exo Moto G FSA crank. Bit tight, but nothing a lump hammer doesn’t cure.
