Hi just wondering if it is possible to use a front brake mount on the rear break, because I’m looking for a rear mount for post mounting 203mm but can’t seam to find rear for this size, only for front?

Some mounts are universal – my Hope 183 post mounts do front or rear. I think it varies with the mounting (IS/post) and the caliper itself though.

Don’t rear mounts size down 20mm in relation to when they are used on the front?

    i.e. a 180 front mount is a 160 rear.

So you’ll need a 223 (?) front mount for your 203 rear (thats a masive disc, whats it for?)

It depends on the frame. If the frame mount was for a post mount 160mm then the front adapter should work. iS style mounts are 20mm different as ghostly suggests.
