Looking at building a Camber 29er up but want to use as much off my current bikes as possible. The Camber has 142 rear dropouts , I have a set of Fulcrum Red Power XL that are 135x9mm rear, can they be converted?.

Been googling but not making much sense of the adapter kit available, it reads like it is 135 thru axle to 142 conversion. I am probably wrong though?

    Any helpful info.

The newer ones are – my Red Metal XLs can be changed. 135/142mm at the rear and QR/15mm on the front.

Not sure if the kit can be retrofitted to older wheels.

Ping your local Fulcrum dealer and they’ll find out for you.

Syntace designed this standard and they used to have info on their website about all the hubs and wheels which were compatible. Seems to have disappeared, I’m presuming because everyone else has now jumped on the 142 bandwagon, so they can’t keep a comprehensive list anymore.

My wheels are the 2012 version Red Power XL29 if that helps.
