My wife has a harry potter audiobook on cassette from 2007 which she’s only just listened to, 16 tapes in total, but… tape 15 seems to be backwards as if the tapes been wound the wrong way!

So i was wondering if anyone has a tape deck which they can connect to a computer, and any software that can reverse audio playback, then re-record the audio back onto the tape?!

Obviously i’m currently just assuming its the tape wound backwards and not messages from satan.

rewind it fully one way, then pull a bit of the leader tape out and flip it 180 degrees. manually wind the loop back in with a pencil (or something) ensuring the actual tape gets flipped.

    that should work.

Probably easier to just download the whole audio book
