Off to Wales this summer but need recommendations for scenic, clean, decent campsites anywhere in wales, preferably closer to the coast or a lake etc. Smaller campsites are prefered but any recommendations are appreciated

    Cheers

Op, 99 percent of caravan parks in wales suit your bill. Which part of wales would be nice.
Your question is a bit like recommend me a park in Europe. A bit vague.

Camping and caravanning site near lake Bala is good.
Site in Tal Y bont (brecon beacons) is nice, three good pubs in walking distance.
Beddgelert camping and caravanning. Not small but I think the cleanest of the Snowdon campsites.
There is one by Llandegla. I can’t remember the name, nice pub on the corner.
Give me a few mins and I will look the names up for you.

Peniarth Bach Farm nr Betws Yn Rhos is a quiet family run Farm campsite. Been there twice now, ideally situated for fishing (Old Colwyn) and biking (Snowdonia, Gwydr, Penmachno, CYB etc etc). No club, entertainment or cod heads.
