We’ve had enough of Pembrokeshire for our “summer” hols so this year we are driving to Spain and camping at Cala Llevado, right on South coast between Tossa and Lloret.

We’ll be taking 2 days to get there and back so will be having an overnight camp some way south of gay Paris on outward and return journey.

My question is what kind of bedding should we take? Will just sheets and blankets do or should I be looking at 1 season sleeping bags?

    That is all.

    Thank you.

I’d opt for 2-3 season bags. Hot in day and clear skies could mean a cold night.
I got caught out in France in a heat wave a few years back with a one season bag.
If you get too hot, use it as a quilt.
For long camping trips, I always use a single sheet over the camping mat so I don’t stick to the mat in warm weather.

Thanks for that. Ooh, new sleeping bags.
