hello iv recently bought a new ultra torque crankset and want to replace my power torque with it, the only problem is the power torque is ridicules!i have all the tools for the job so went to extract the crankset ant as i was putting pressure on the crank arm with the bearing puller i noticed the crank arm protector was starting to snap eventually it gave way and in my frustration took it off and carried on without this just damanged the crank arm so gave up!i have also tryed hammering it out any suggestion? thanks

Last time I did one of those the park puller was not man enough and snapped
Used a car one in the end but it did mark the arm a little

Just to check there is a washer behind the crank bolt that must not be left in there as you remove the arm

Did one of these at work the other day.Used the small Park puller,There is a special tool that fits in the end of the crank axle that gives you something to put the puller against.
