    …does it have to be specific Campagnolo ones.?

    Swapping some bits over on to a winter frame for a friend and he has Campagnolo 10spd centaur shifters. Is it ok to use generic road shifter cables or will his bike burst in to flames.?

    End stops on Campag cables are smaller than shimano/sram so other non campag type cables won’t fit the shifters.

    I use Goodridge inner gear cables on my 10 and 11spd Campag set ups. No issues to report.
