At some point in the near future i will have to admit that the drivetrain on my bike is dead.

I need two new mechs, so Athena 11spd,
I need new Ergos and cables so Chorus 11spd
    Cassette Chorus 12-27
I currently have an old sq taper Chorus Chainset, which i plan to keep but need rings if i buy 10spd TA rings, or Campag rings. that will be 53/39, any issues?
    Chain KMC 11spd gold thing.

Brakes are brakes?? they are old Centaur, no issues ???? with the new style levers???

Hub is Daytona, so no issues?

Anybody see any flaws in this?

I’m using a 2007 UT Chorus chainset with 11spd TA rings, herself has a TA chainset with 10spd rings with 11spd Chorus.
    Brakes should be fine.
    Hubs will be fine.
You’ll probably need a front mech as well as the QS has different cable pull.
The new shape levers are nice :o)

I’ve used 10spd campag chain rings with 11spd and it worked fine. As your getting new chain rings why not not get the 11spd ones ?

    This chainring?

    Horus 11

As for not getting 11spd, simply figuring out what i can and can’t use. I know Campag have done something stupid to compact chain sets, but are ALL 135mm chainrings compatible with older chain sets?

Pretty sure the 135 horus rings will be fine.
