I know this is a long shot, but I am planning a ride that has had to be curtailed due to one of our number carrying an injury. Anyone know if there’s a decent (and bike friendly, or at least with somewhere bikes can be parked) cafe in Littleborough?

    Cheers,

Dunno about L’borough itself, but head up the road twoards Hollingworth Lake and there will be pubs, Cafes, and so on.

Think if you look down the ..might be ..east side of the lake, there is a visitors centre with a carpark and a cafe.

In Littleborough itself best bet might be the coach house / demitris (not sure about opening hours especially sunday)….it’s on Lodge Street…cobbled road behin dHoly Trinity church – it’s part of some heritage centre. There is a courtyard around the back so you could put bikes there / sit outside if nice enough.

Possibly a better bet is the visitor centre at Hollingworth Lake (off Rakewood Rd, i.e. not the main road car park).

Thanks – I’ll have a look at Lodge St. Bail out option is the pub at the Halifax end of Hollingworth.

The cafe at the visitors centre is excellent.
Good quality food and drinks, plenty of room to get changed.

Reckon this is definitely your best bet.

Went to Demitri’s in the end, and it was excellent.
