That's right i have nicknamed my testes...
The lurgy has passed and we are ON.
Who fancies it this week? I was up yesterday and it was wet but should be all good.

I'm back and in, if I can borrow some lights that is?
I'm going to jinx myself and say YES.
I'm even going out tonight to clear up a couple of sneaky 'suburbs' trails if we have the time/legs for them at the end.
aye, see you there Ken
Can't make it this week...or next...have a good one.
Likely to be making a trip to Innerleithen on Thursday morning if anyone is interested ?
....cheers, Grant.
Oh, and if anyone fancies a short ride tonight I'm heading up past the Braid hills for a little bit of a play, won't be leaving the city, and won't be out late.
Probably me again; also heading up tonight for a stretch in the moonlight...
ps Just had a hail shower in Glesga
I'm in..
Boogies whilst bumpin' the thread.
...and back again.
Nice out tonight, the city light pollution looked particularly good against the clouds. Also found a great late-night baked potatoe-ery in Bruntsfield, saves me from the chippy!
Oh, and in breaking news, two months on your arse does terrible things to your fitness.
Yeah, why not. Usual time/place? Actually what's the usual time?
I shall attempt to be there.
Me too - hopefully.
The "usual" seems to be 6pm at TBC or 7pm at the Bonaly shoppe.
I was out tonight too and there was a definite chill in the air - my favourite time of year! Tomorrow might be a bit different though?
Aye, a bit squidgy off-piste tonight, the route will need some thought... A bit 'bomb-ey' too, got turned back at bottom of Castlelaw (south) by the Rozzers with bomb 'disposal' squad in attendance, suspect-package found near the fort somewhere. Don't forget them night-vision goggles!
Isn't Tuesday night the night they have exercises on anyway?
I'll be there (for you).
Cool, see y'all at Bonaly, unless it's snowing or somesuch. You're hereby put on notice that my bike has insufficient suspension and gears so I would be last all the time, were it not for the fact that it also has insufficient brakes
So probably not a good idea to be in front of me, or behind me either.
Can I claim insufficient gears, and insufficient legs?
I may also have to claim insufficient hip flask this time around, the contents have gone toxic with age and need replaced...
so there
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG
Was wondering earlier whether the weekly thread had started and for some reason thought about it being called 'By the beard of Zeus'.
OMG Soooooooooooooo weird OMG OMG
Aye'll be there
i'll supply the beard.
I am Zeus
no. you are Tube. Quite different
will bring the hip flask...Glenmorangie...
dont want any beard hair in it though
Well I've shaved mine off, so if there's any beard hair, it won't be mine!
I'll make this one.
I'll be there baby!
Mark, don't spose you've a spare light kicking about do you? Was going to borrow a mates but his is playing up.
aye I'll be along, see y'all at the Bonaly Hypermarket
Ill bring a couple of TJ speshul diy lights as spares in case mark don't have enough
Cheers TJ, I'll aim to meet down at the shoppe tonight
Cool. A large turn out it seems.
That should keep the pace down for me nicely.
See's yer all laters
That should keep the pace down for me nicely.
Thats usually Downie's line before he drops us all off the back.
PWNED!
What way do you leave the city? I am looking to meet you enroute. Thinking either the red bridge at crewe toll or the bit where you'd go on to the water of leith. Where is best?
Zulus - previous meeting points have been where the WoL crosses at Roseburn terrace or at the Gorgie road crossing where the Fiat garage used to be.
Peronally I start on the North Edinburgh cycle path (is that the correct name?) at the Sainsbury's 'junction' (south of the red bridge) and then carry on to the WoL. Let me know if that suits you.
I think I know where you are. Will saunter along there. What time?
I'll be riding a black rock lobster.
