    Hi all

I’m heading to the States shortly and am wondering about picking up one of the Nexus tablets while I’m there.

Has anyone done this? Is it significantly cheaper and are you able to use it easily back in the UK?

    Any advice gratefully received …

Current pricing for a 32GB would be £155 (plus local sales tax) in the US versus £199 here so a decent saving.

Product is global so no issues with location, you choose that at startup.

Only issue I can see is it will have a 2 pin US plug on the charger so you’ll need a plug adaptor. Nexus 7 uses a 2Amp charger so a standard 1Amp phone charger will give a slow charge.

Warranty may be an issue too.
