Looking at booking up a cheap static caravan for sometime next spring/summer. A neighbour went here and said it was ok.

Is there much to do nearby? We are traveling from Northumberland so its not too far a drive but we have been to Scotland for the last 4 years so just fancy a bit of a change really.

Any other North Yorkshire recommendations?

I’d say that sums it up. Nothing really there so you are always going to have to drive. Even going for a walk wasn’t too pleasant as there are twisty country roads with no pavements so always a worry. I’d have a look over at Ingleton if you can find something there.
