Looking at booking up a cheap static caravan for sometime next spring/summer. A neighbour went here and said it was ok.

Springer Spaniel and 18mnth old child friendly.

Is there much to do nearby? We are traveling from Northumberland so its not too far a drive but we have been to Scotland for the last 4 years so just fancy a bit of a change really.

Any other North Yorkshire recommendations?

I'd say that sums it up. Nothing really there so you are always going to have to drive. Even going for a walk wasn't too pleasant as there are twisty country roads with no pavements so always a worry. I'd have a look over at Ingleton if you can find something there.
