it something big on a loose downhill section today and i lost air from the tyre, stopped, took a look and couldn’t hear or see any bubbles, etc so just popped some more air in…. 2 mins later tyre deflates, this time i found the leak….a small ding in the rim was letting a bit of air out 🙁 what next do i try to un-ding the rim, apply more tape to the area or do i need a new rim??? the ding really is minor, i’m surprised it had any effect tbh. Any advise gratefully received….

    cheers

I’ve successfully un-dinged a Mavic UST rim in the past. Carried on using it tubeless.

Give it a go, you’ve nothing to lose really.

Take off tyre, use molegrips etc to straighten rim then add more latex.
