My heartrate monitor packed up last night so I need a replacement.

I’d like one with a chest strap as I only use it when I’m on the turbo and have the watch bit strapped round the handlebars so would like to replace it with another that will show my heartrate without it being strapped to my wrist.

Would a Bluetooth chest strap and a suitable Android app do the job or an I better off just spending £25 on a cheap HRM watch like I did last time and accept that it’ll have to be placed in a coupke of years?
