Mate is looking for a large 29er ht. What’s his options at around £500? Links would be great. I don’t actually know his budget but I could feel his wife’s glare when I mentioned £1000.

Budgets are meant to be broken.

Kids bike firm budget was £50, then no more than a £100, definitely no more than £100, MAX. We spent £200.

You just need to slowly introduce bikes slightly over each budget point and sell the virtues of each.

So what you’re really asking for is 29er HT examples at £500, £600 and so on.

Yes they are a great bike, but unfortunately I haven’t used mine due to riding my fat bike. Ive upgraded the discs and put a riser bar on mine and they are a very competent bike.

Any good?
