Any pointers?
I very rarely use a full waterproof while biking as they’re just too hot. I like fleece with a basic pertex top over it. It’s cheaper and more versatile for me.
I use the Nikwax wash in stuff (following instructions to the letter) but it never seems to last long.

I’ve had more success with the Grangers 2-in-1 stuff.

Cheers montgomery. Just used up the last of my Nikwax last night so will start to experiment with others, starting with the Grangers.

Important thing is to clear detergent out of your machine first. Last time I just went to a laundrette with top loader machines and chucked it all in together. Activating afterwards by tumble drying makes a big difference, too.

Aye, it’s quite handy the drawer on my washing machine is removeable so makes it easy to clean all the scummy residue out first.
