Does anybody have one of these, or one of the other Brytons?

My 40 arrived and the moment I plugged it into my laptop to charge the screen has frozen showing the text “bb.brytonsport.com”. It came with a low charge and worked fine before I charged it.

Bryton’s website isn’t much help and nothing I do will unfreeze the screen.

Has this happened to anybody? Any suggestions? Aside from send it back and get a Garmin.

Got my Bryton Rider 35 today charged ok and software loaded and it connected with my BrytonSport account and sync went without a hitch, my HR & Cadence sensors work and connected with the GPS, just need to try it on a ride now, but hapy so far.

Have you taken the battery out that may reset it.

The battery isnt removable and I am reluctant to take the unit to pieces .

The only Bryton forum I could find was the South African forum. Tempted to sign up there. I read somewhere or other that a firmware upgrade can sort these sorts of problems but I cant find any firmware downloads either.

If I hold the on/off button and the Start/rec button down at the same time that will set my 35 device, should be a similar feature on yours.

    Edit Reset Rider 40
To reset the Rider 40, long press all three keys (p/ /q) at the same time.
