Now before the usual suggestions of prawn viewing,he is 8,and I was in the same room. Chrome is now locked up and the online fix is to click on the chrome toolbar and disable Java. However the three wee bars on the right hand side are also locked,so I can’t get in to disable it. Any other ways to fix it? Thanks,Stuart.

Hold down power button to force a restart

It’ll be the prawns you viewed last night just waking up

    Ctrl Alt Del
    Task Manager
    Close Chrome
    Download Malwarebytes and run it

shift-esc is Chrome task manager which might help if you can get it to open

    I had this happen yesterday.
Turned the wifi off then held the power button in to turn the computer straight off. Restart ran anti virus, which actually came up clean. Restart chrome but don’t take the option of restoring previous session.

    Job sorted.

i ha something like this at work Certainly not a prawn site, I was online with a class of students

One student was brilliant pointing out all the errors. “There is no UK Police” etc.

I think It suppport at work rebuilt the machine as that was easiest for them

Had something similar at home. But it just would freeze with a full screen browser window

Worst case scenario you want a bootable virus checker on a memory stick and or Malwarebytes

Restart the computer in safe mode and restore windows to an earlier date, then a Malware bytes scan.

Happens to me all the time, but I do watch tons of porn, more at work than home actually.
