I’ll see your lighter than black balloon tyres on a singular peregrine and raise you some even lighter ones:

not as co-ordinated as yours though, very artful. I’m not quite convinced whether they look good though, same as I’m not sure about mine either!

I’m impressed the way the 2″ tyres fit into the 50mm shiny mudguards. The rear needs some tweaking, but its so much better than the 35c tyres I had on before. Rides nicer too.

ned – it’d look better with fat black slicks. On One have 2″ Big Apples for £20 each…

ir – re: guards, it helps that they’re not 2″!

You’re probably right about the black, but having just bought 6 tyres for the same bike within a few months (these, race kings and 28c gatorskins) I think I’ll stick with what I’ve got for now!

I’ll offer up some grey coloured tyres on a Peregrine as well then (although good luck working out the colour from this shot … 🙄 ).
