    Hey all,

Had B17 for years, and finally got round to getting a Thomson laid back post for my karate monkey. Strange thing is, that although the bike fits well with a normal saddle, I find the way the rails are on a Brooks B17 mean the saddle sits very far forward.

I love love love my brooks; DOES anyone know if the Swift model has the same problem as this?

Don’t know about a Swift, but Velo Orange do a seat post with 30mm of layback for the Brooks problem with the rails.

Just done a quick visual check as I’ve got both a Swift and a B17. I’d say the saddle position is pretty much the same on both saddles.

Also be aware that the Swift and the B17 are different saddles. The Swift is narrower and a lot firmer. I find both comfy but YAMV.
