I came back from a blast around Sherwood Pines yesterday and noticed a broken spoke on my rear wheel. I have removed the spoke and the wheel itself only has a slight wobble. I can’t get to a bike shop for a few days and use the bike for commuting but I am not too sure if I should still ride it – what are your thoughts? What would you do? Is the wheel likely to collapse?
    Thanks.

I rode with a broken spoke on my old wheels for about 3 months as I was being lazy. It held up fine. I’d get it sorted, but wouldnt worry too much about it collapsing.

Ridden mu commuter a few times with a broken spoke, so generally nothing to worry about. Wheels feels a bit flexy but that might be my imagination.

However don’t blame me if your wheel collapses and you die under the wheels of a bus
