Hi folks,

I’m new on here. I bought a second hand Scott Ransom 10 2008 and have ridden it for about a month. I was cleaning it tonight and discovered a broken carbon seat stay.

Anybody know how easy these are to replace. How much they cost? and where I can get one? Has anybody got one second hand?

I used to have a Ransom, wish I still had it TBH.

I changed the bearings all round etc, and getting the stay off wasn’t that difficult if you are reasonably handy.

Kudu Bikes were always pretty helpful with Scott parts.
