Since HTN, BBB, etc promotion seem acceptable, I thought I'd just mention my team's latest foray into the world of beards and mudguards (Mods, if it's an issue, please let me know…)
The Las Vegas Institute of Sport is organising its first Audax which starts at Long Ashton just outside Bristol this Sunday (28th March). We're keen though to make sure it fits in with our whole ethos so it'll be fun with brilliant routes and a guaranty of excellent cakes. Mudguards and beard not required 🙂
There are two courses – both take in some of the best roads around Bristol with great views.
Barry’s Bristol Bash (Short route – 71miles) including: Clifton Suspension Bridge, views of both Severn Road crossings, Cotswold escarpment, Bristol City views from Dundry Hill.
Barry’s Bristol Ball Buster (long route 131miles) including Clifton Suspension Bridge, views of both Severn Road crossings, Cotswold escarpment, Mendips, Glastonbury Tor, Somerset levels, Gordano Valley
The routes start from Long Ashton Village Hall (Village Hall, Keedwell Hill, Bristol, BS41
9DP) where there will be toilets, hot drinks and some food available.
Riders on Barry’s Bristol Ball Buster will set off at 8:00am.
Riders on Barry’s Bristol Bash will set off at 9:30am.
