Bristol Bike Jumble this Saturday!

This Saturday, midday outside Mud Dock. Free to set up a stall, free to use a table ( would be nice if you brought you own though as there aren't many ) and loads of cheap Pay+Display next door.

If you can't ride in this weather YOU UPGRADE! That usually means lots of bargains for sale! Your only alternative this time of year in Bristol is Christmas shopping.....AAAGGGHHH!!! Wrap up and share the cycle-related love in style!

Set your satnavs to BS1 4RB and bring some bits down to sell, so you can buy more bits. Recent bargains have included sets of original Hope Minis for not much, Wood hubs, SRAM X9 mechs for buttons and Fox forks for a lot less than used Bombers!

And how cheap is this P&D? bristol prices are much more than the FoD!!
I regard a quid a day as needing valet parking.
Might just venture across the big river though.

I'll pop over later and find out. I don't drive but most times I've ( dis ) organised the Jumble people come from the car park making " Bugger me, that's cheap! " noises.

the best sort! The missus is away for the w/e so I can venture into the big city, have mooch round the jumble and then try all the other cycle shops.

About £2.40 for all day on a Saturday - something like that.

Not as cheap as FoD, but we have less niche attention-seeking types, we have electricity, people have family trees with branches on them and we certainly don't abandon visitors on rides in Bristol!

Hmm I might be tempted as I'm visiting Bath on Saturday
Would it be worth me coming to sell some mint 970 series xtr avoiding postal charges.

I have XTR brakes, shifters, mechs, XT cranks, Carbon seatposts and bars and Mavic 719 wheels with XTR hubs. Reba forks 115mm VGC.

Or will I get the folk from Retro bike looking for cheap bargains?
(Need monies for a new roadbike)

I can't help if you won't read the first three words.

Frank - you can never tell - there can be about 50 people turn up - some buyers, some sellers. Different people want different things at different times - someone might be dreaming of mint XTR - someone might want a 7 speed cassette - part of the fun of doing it.

I'll try classifieds for my XTR as I won't have time to take the parts of the bike-unless I bring the bike down or get off early?!

Will bring some VGC retro bits too and other bobs for road bikes like fenders.

I think TooTall was only kidding backhander; but it was funny as it says this Saturday Midday...this is STW so expect a joke now and again! lost count of how many funny things replied to me but laughed them off.

Cheer up backhander -pop down and have a mingle -I've been there before and its quite good.

Especially when I asked how much was that frame even though there was a massive sign saying £50

I just laughed at myself after everyone had a giggle at me.

Okay, it's outside Mud Dock Cycleworks, Tootall; yer fired ( ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!! Social skills of a rhino with haemarroids ).
Please come see me first for setting up a table ( I turn up waaaay early for our club's coffee+cake morning ). If you're selling and parking please make sure you've PLENTY of change.
Here's a good tip to both buyers and sellers: remember we're there every month so if you see something out of your budget there's always next month so REMEMBER NAMES AND SWAP NUMBERS!

It starts at MIDDAY, 12 o'clock, 12 bells

I've got a 700c Sturmey Archer-hubbed wheel for sale, along with some really niche stuff - and some other stuff. Come and trade stuff!
