Any recommendations where to stay with a bicycle?

It would have to be very specialist, but I imagine there are “establishments” to cater for every taste, even this.

Brighton is very open minded place, unlike you prudes.

Over towards the Hove end is fine.

Us Hove residents would rather keep the really weird shit in the eastern half of the city, thank you.

I saw a guy snogging a skateboard there once.

We’d have no truck with that in Hove.

I wouldn’t worry too much, my local bike is not generally fussy on location..er..I’m told.

I think the OP got a bit short changed on this 😳

You can park the bike at the new secure storage at Brighton Station and then go to any hotel.

Probably easier than trying to locate a bike friendly place?

Ok , play nice you lot !

Me & a mate stayed at the Travelodge the night before the BHF London Brighton.

We just took our bikes up to the room , nobody seemed to mind.

haha I knew i’d get more (than usual) silly answers with this topic.

Found a couple of places that don’t mind it going in a meeting room if its available. Didn’t know about the new bike storage at the station though but that could be very handy.

I’m sure airbnb will have loads of folk that will accommodate you and your bike no problem…

As an actually useful answer, when I’ve been traveling with bike I’ve just worked on the basis of styling it out and just taking it up: no questions = less opportunity for refusal.

It helps if there’s a less obvious entrance so you’re not traipsing it through, but ultimately unless you’re taking the piss it’s only as much of a cleanliness risk as your shoes. I’ve never had any issues on that approach.
