    Does Brechfa have an opening time?
    Or is there a gate to the car park that doesn’t get unlocked until a certain time.
    I would probably want to be there and on the trail for about 6.30am.
    Am I right in thinking its about 1.5-2hrs to get round.

    no gate to the entrance.

    cant remember how long it took to get round, probably closer to 2 hours i think

    Both car parks are open all the time.

    The Black is the longest route and starts from Bergwm, the Red is shorter (but better IMO) and starts from Abergorlech.
