I have just received my new nomad frame after getting it replaced under the crash warranty. I decided that i wanted to move 27.5 but stay on santa cruz as i got on so well with my nomad, so i bought a bronson as a replacement.
The new nomad frame is completely new other than the seat collar, 142mm axle and mech hanger, although that is only a month old anyway. The shock is also an upgrade from the original fox rp23 in the form or a Rockshox monarch plus rc3. This was serviced by j-tech only 6 weeks ago.
The frame is xl so only suitable for a taller rider. I am just over 6ft 5" and get on with it great with a 70mm stem. I would say that you would want to be 6ft 1" at least to go for the xl. They aren't the longest in the top tube, i have never felt cramped though.
The nomad is a hugely capable bike. On the previous frame i have raced 2 megavalanches, a mountain of hell, world enduro series round, 2 full seasons in the uk racing enduro and a fair few individual dh races including bala.
New nomad frames have a rrp of £2600 so the £2000 that i am asking for is a bargain. I do also have a few bits i could sell with the frame. Forks, headset etc.
I will post the frame for free providing the asking price is met.
Here are a few pictures i took earlier. If you would like any others then feel free to ask. I am contactable on here or more directly by email on roddi18AThotmailDOTcoDOTuk
