  • Brake pads – what's good for the money at the moment?

I’ve been running Uberbike race matrix pads on my Deore BR-615 brakes and they’ve been OK but I haven’t found them to be particularly long lasting when compared to regular sintered pads, considering they cost a bit more.

Any recommendations / deals on at the moment?

Rahox, have used various uberbike and these are way better but cost a bit more. I’m using the superspeed compound.

Im with leegee on this. Rahox are amazing pads. Work out a little bit dearer than your superstar and uberbike pads but they work very well and last.

I get plenty of miles out of proper finned shimanos but discos are good if you want to save a few quid.
