    Would a wizard please guide.

I am looking at changing frames, I have formula t1 brakes that are internally routed. To move them over to the new frame, do I need to get new fittings, or can I just undo the banjo and thread that through?

Depends how tight the frame is really- if the olive at the lever end fits through then it’s easy. If not then the simplest and cheapest way is to remove the olive and insert at the lever. You can reuse the insert but not usually the olive, and you’ll lose about 10ml of hose length doing it.

(T1 will usually have a banjo at the caliper end but it’s crimped on, so replacing it is more expensive than doing it all at the lever end)

Thanks mate, hopefully I’ll just be able to fit the banjo through the frame and it’ll be job done.

Goodridge reusable hose and hose ends for the win.

    Expensive but very very handy.
